About Us

Joe “Billy Bob” Cobb is a retired US Army Ranger and Oregon native. He served in the 75th Ranger regiment and 173rd Airborne Regiment in Vincenza, Italy. Since entering civilian life, Billy Bob has enjoyed sharing his depth of knowledge in firearms and medical training with individuals of all skill levels. As a certified NRA and USCCA instructor, he teaches Pistol, shotgun and rifle courses anywhere from basic firearm handling to advanced shooting techniques. Additionally, he is endorsed by the American Heart Association to instruct courses in BLS, CPR, AED, FIRST-AID, and STOP THE BLEED. Billy Bob volunteers his time as head of security at Hinson Baptist Church in Portland, OR, and he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids in the great Pacific Northwest outdoors.
